SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TO END THE ABUSE OF THE BOYS
A local grassroots non-profit providing hundreds of Talibes in St Louis with a safe environment, literacy classes, basic health, hygiene and vocational training programs.
Non-profit working to eradicate the practice of enforced child begging by enhancing livelihoods of families in rural communities and addressing the root causes of the problem.
Organizations providing local mobile emergency assistance, shelters for runaway Talibes, and initiatives to re-locate Talibes back to their families.
National forum and coalition of 50, mainly Senegalese, organizations protecting Talibes and children’s rights in Senegal.
International organizations working on global advocacy to pressure the Senegalese government and international authorities to address the problem.
